Ernie Fletcher, who fought back a primary challenger who had been quietly backed by Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell, are trying to draft wealthy attorney Larry Forgy to run against McConnell. Early reports are that Forgy, the party's 1995 gubernatorial nominee, appears willing to do so.
